It is used in case of vitamin A deficiency in birds

Suitable for birds that do not secrete vitamin A such as canaries (especially the white recessive canary)

Symptoms of vitamin A deficiency :

Nasal congestion and swelling of the upper eyelids often accompanied by lacrimation, and in severe cases eyelid adhesion

Bulges between and behind the mandibular branches (indicative of swollen salivary glands)

Damage to the mucous membranes of the mouth, throat and respiratory tract
