1. Pre-Hydration
Maintain health and vitality and use for proactive hydration management and early intervention when increased fluid loss or decreased fluid intake is anticipated.
2. Rehydration
Correct fluid and electrolyte balance and use to maintain optimal hydration, even during periods of gastrointestinal disturbance.
3. Microenteral GI Support
Support intestinal function and use with inappetent or anorexic patients to provide essential enterocyte nourishment, supporting GI function to help pave the way for voluntary enteral nutrition. The unique formulation contains amino acids and simple sugars to support enterocytes, and prebiotics to encourage a healthy gastrointestinal microbiome.
Composition: Purified water, Dextrose Monohydrate, Chicken Liver Hydrolysate (1.5%), Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Monosodium Phosphate, Vegetable Oils and Fats, Natural Flavouring Free from citrates or preservatives.
Additives: per kg: Technological Additives: Xanthan Gum 1200mg, Fructo-oligosaccharide 1000mg, Sensory Additives: Glycine 4000mg, Monosodium Glutamate 1200mg, L-Glutamic Acid 400mg.
Analytical Constituents: Moisture 96%, Crude Protein 1%, Inorganic Matter 0.5%, Crude Fibre 0.3%, Chloride 0.2%, Crude Fat 0.1%, Sodium 0.14%, Potassium 0.08%, Phosphorus 0.027%, Calcium 0.006%, 14kcal/100ml.
Directions for use: Pour into a bowl.
Dosage:
- Cats and small dogs (under 4 kg): 200 ml per 24 hours.
- Small dogs (10 kg): 200–450 ml per 24 hours.
- Medium dogs (11–25 kg): 425–825 ml per 24 hours.
- Large dogs (26–45 kg): 825–1350 ml per 24 hours.
- Extra-large dogs (45–60 kg): 1350–1560 ml per 24 hours.
Storage: Store in a cool dry place below 35 degree celsius, keep out of direct sunlight.
Once opened, refrigerate and use within 3 days or freeze and use within 12 months.
